Maška Hvar and Eco Hvar have joined forces in our programme to give Hvar's free-living cats the chance of a fulfilled life without causing problems to residents and visitors. We have established feeding stations in various locations on the island, and there is an ongoing sterilization (Trap-Neuter-Return) programme. The sterilization programme is part-funded by the local authorities, but the allocated funds will soon run out. The feeding stations are managed by individuals and through donations to our organisations.

MUCH MORE NEEDS TO BE DONE, SO WE NEED MORE FUNDING:

1. to establish more feeding stations;

2. to provide food for the feeding stations;

3. to neuter the maximum number of street cats;

4. to cover veterinary fees for sick or injured cats.
